Description:

The program focuses on increasing the supports and opportunities available to youth as well as increasing protective factors. Our program is offered five days a week during the school year from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Summer hours vary depending on the activities scheduled for the day.

Activities include homework help/tutoring; academic classes in math, science, history, and English; life skill classes, Lions-Quest classes, leadership group and recreational time.

All activities are conducted by trained youth workers and are supervised by the Director of Youth Services.

Whatsoever Community Center is reviewed and funded by Heart of America United Way, as well as Jackson County COMBAT.
