Camp SEEK

SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids ) is a free, three-week, out-of-school time initiative designed to expose under-served students of color to STEM engineering education. SEEK catalyzes students’ interest in math and science concepts and is part of NSBE’s broader strategy to pipeline minority students into careers in STEM engineering disciplines.

...is a summer-long performing arts program sponsored by the KC Friends of Alvin Ailey, providing a platform for urban core Middle School youth, ages 11 to 14.

...are weekend grief support camps. Camp Erin is for children between the ages of 6 and 17; Camp Carousel is for school-aged children between the ages of 5 and 18. The camps are a service of KC Hospice.

...is a residential one-week camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes.  Typical camp activities are augmented by education in diabetes self-management skills taught by endocrinology health professionals.

Heartland Therapeutic Riding Camp

...is a five-day six-hours-a-day camp in Bucyrus, Kansas for children 8-13 who have disabilities as well as their able-bodied, more typically developing peers. Campers rotate through Horsemanship, Riding, Crafts, Games, Barn Time and Horse Care.
