Camps For Kids supports our mission by paying operating expenses through two annual fundraising events.
Golf FORE Kids in June, and CampOut in September, mark the beginning and end of camp season for our kids. We want our donors to have a great time, too!
Join us here, and at our other fun events throughout the year...

1. Golf FORE Kids 2008 When: May 5, 2008 Where: Deer Creek Golf Club What: "Swinging for Zeros" Our goal is that no KC child with special needs be turned away from any camp in our network due to inability to pay -- that every camp report "zero" turned away at the end of the summer camping season. Registration for the golf tourney opens at noon. Shotgun start at 1:30pm. Cost is $150 per player or $600 for a team of four and includes lunch before the tourney, drinks during, hors d'oeuvres and awards afterward.

Look for 2008 CampOut information soon! It's our end-of-season celebration on September 6 at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
2. CampOut 2008 When: 7pm, September 6, 2008 Where: Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, 4420 Warwick, Kansas City, MO What: CampOut is our annual end-of-camping-season celebration featuring a silent art auction, fine food and drink and live entertainment. This year we are proud to feature our contributing artists at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, the delictable delites of Cafe Sebastienne and the Zeros, one of KC's most popular bands. Proceeds from the event support the Camps For Kids mission, helping KC area kids with special needs accrue the real benefits of attending quality summer camps.
